Ryan Ray

Ryan Ray has served as Leon County’s Democratic Party Chair since 2022. In 2024, he led a Chair's Slate which was re-elected unanimously.

Across three decades, Ryan has effectively advanced Democratic values as Communications Director at Florida House Victory, managed numerous winning local campaigns, co-led field efforts for Gwen Graham for Congress, and served as a 2015-17 member of the Capitol Press Corps.

Under Ryan’s four-year tenure, Leon Democrats:

• Defeated the Republican plan to divide our city

• Dramatically increased social media visibility

• Raised over $81,000 through thousands of sustainable small-dollar donations

• Brought accountability to right-wing developers influencing Tallahassee local elections
